Walking with Oma - Angie Littlefiled

Angie Littlefield • Notes along the way

Dear Angelika …
I feel overwhelmed …
My best wishes in your quest …
I don't know what I can say …
Maybe we can gather in Hamburg …
I'm a Skrainka and I would like to embrace you at the end of your quest …
Let me know what you think about it.
Be sure that all our ancestors will be with you on the journey …
Deep thanks from my father, my family and myself … I feel proud …
Jorge SKRAINKA

Jorge Skrainka is the nephew of my grandmother Anna Skrainka. Jorge's father, the Jew Robert Skrainka was on either the Caribia or the Koenigstein, sister ships en route from Europe to North America seeking safe haven but which were refused harbour until they reached Venezuela. Jorge Skrainka currently lives in Spain.

Hello Angie:
Wishing you all the best as you "walk with Oma".
BTW --- Your web site is nothing short of amazing. Brilliantly laid out and most inviting to view …
Will definitely join you as you take the trip of a lifetime.
Auguri!
Ennio

Dear Angie,

What a captivating project!

The sense of connection with a family member, with history, and celebrating the present beauty and culture of the area will all provide you with an enthralling, moving experience.

I continue to be inspired by you, and wish you the strength provided by the good wishes of a thousand friends who will be with you in spirit along your journey.
